Explore Numbers and Nature:

1. Discuss how different creatures have different numbers of legs.

2. Look in your little one's stuffies and books for creatures with two, four, six and eight legs.

3. Explore how their number of legs changes the way they move.

Adventure Time:

1. Go outside and practice "walking like an octopus" by slithering across the ground with your arms and legs

2. Get moving number practice:

   • Get a partner for a total of eight "legs"

   • Roll a dice or call out a number of "legs" (one to eight) to put on the floor. One leg? Hold your little one! Eight legs? Both people have all hands and feet on the floor.
